This assignment at MM MerchandisingMedia (now called SevenVentures), a company in the ProSiebenSat.1 group, was initially targeted at supporting the development of the new business area Media for Equity and Media for Revenue Share. In this context, we – jointly with the client’s project team – set up the entire division. In addition, we drafted standards for calculation, tools and processes, as well as for legal documents. Within our project team we organized internal interfaces to the corporate departments, and devised a plan for regular and systematic sales activities. Afterwards, we were instructed to operate in two other areas: First, we analyzed the licensing department and calculated its productivity/profitability (adjusted by effects of multiple restructurings). Given the significant market changes, we recommended a strategic reorientation. Second, we developed a concept to reestablish the e-commerce division.
