Due to our extensive experience in connecting media companies and startups, a major German publishing house engaged us in 2014 to explore how young firms can contribute to realising its growth objectives. Based on the publisher’s defined goals, we started off setting criteria for market segments, in which fitting young firms could be found. At it, we screened, consolidated, evaluated and chose more than 120 segments. Within the final segments we searched for, examined and assessed those firms, which could contribute to the growth objectives of the publishing house.
